What we serve

Cardmarket (EUR), daily. Each printing's price is today's snapshot from Cardmarket's public price guide, and priceHistory(from:, to:) gives the daily series we've recorded (default: the last 90 days).

Prices in US dollars

The website shows every market price in US dollars (Pullbook uses your ledger currency, US dollars unless you chose another). Cardmarket, the source we're allowed to store and serve, publishes its prices in euros, so we convert them with the European Central Bank's reference rate: the latest one published on or before each price's date (the ECB doesn't publish on weekends and holidays). Rates are fetched daily.

Treat converted prices as estimates. They're European market prices expressed in dollars, not what a card sells for in the US, which can differ. US marketplaces' own prices can't be shown directly (see below).

In the API, prices and expected values are euros by default. Ask for currency: USD (or another supported currency) to get them converted, along with the fxRate and fxDate used.

TCGplayer, eBay and most price APIs don't allow their prices to be redistributed, so we don't store or serve them. Each printing (and sealed product) has marketplaceLinks instead: TCGplayer (exact product page when we know its ID), Cardmarket, eBay sold listings and PriceCharting. exact: false means it's a search. We never fetch these pages ourselves.

USD and graded prices: bring your own key

If you have your own key for a supported provider, send it as a header and ask for marketPrices(provider:):

  • Your provider key is used for that request only. It is never stored or logged.
  • Results are cached for 6 hours under a hash of your key. They're never shared with other accounts or mixed into our data.
  • The call uses your quota with that provider.
  • Quotes cover the whole TCGplayer product, so check the printing field on each quote.
