Terms of Service
Last updated: October 30, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and AKDARRAH LLC ("we", "us"), an Indiana limited liability company, which runs RarityDB: the website at https://raritydb.com, its API (GraphQL, the /v2 REST endpoints and the MCP server), the command line tool and the SDK (together, "the service"). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you use the service for an organisation, you accept them on its behalf.
Your account
- You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. Keep your email account secure; whoever can read it can sign in as you.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account, including requests made with your API keys and by apps you connect. Keep keys secret, and revoke any key you think has leaked.
- One account per person or organisation. Don't create accounts to get around limits.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
Plans and limits
- Each plan has request and photo-check limits, shown on your account page and in the docs. We may change limits or plans with notice.
- Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically at the price shown when you subscribed until you cancel.
- Cancel at any time under Manage billing on the Plans page. You keep the plan until the end of the period you've paid for, then move to Free and keep your records.
- If you ask within 30 days of your first payment for a plan, we'll refund it in full. Email hello@akdarrah.com. After that, payments aren't refundable except where the law requires.
- If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it. If it keeps failing, the subscription ends.
- Founding is limited to the first 50 sellers, and its price stays the same for as long as you keep it without a break.
What you may and may not do
You may build apps, sites, bots and tools on the service, including commercial ones.
You may not:
- resell or redistribute the service's raw output as a competing data feed or API;
- get around limits, authentication or security, or test them without our written permission;
- send requests or photos meant to disrupt the service, or that you don't have the right to send;
- upload photos that are unlawful, that infringe someone's rights, or that show people who haven't agreed to it;
- point a webhook at a URL you don't control;
- use the service to break any law, or anyone else's terms (such as a price provider's).
Photos and other content you send
- You keep ownership of the photos you upload. You give us permission to store and process them to provide the service, including sending them to the AI provider that analyses them (see the Privacy Policy).
- Studio results are private unless you share them. A shared result is public to anyone with its link and can appear on the Community page until you unshare or delete it.
- If you tick the box allowing it, we may use that photo and your feedback to improve the fake check.
- We may remove content that breaks these terms.
Our data and other people's
- The catalog is compiled from public sources, credited in the docs. Where the docs ask for attribution (for example with prices or pull rates), show it.
- Some images belong to others (for example marketplace product photos). We link to them; we don't license them to you.
- Pokémon, card names and artwork are trademarks and copyrights of Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Creatures and GAME FREAK. RarityDB is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by them.
- Prices fetched with your own provider key are governed by your agreement with that provider. We don't store those keys.
Estimates, not guarantees
Prices, pull rates, expected values, card identifications, condition grades and fake checks are estimates for information only.
- They are not financial advice, not an appraisal, and not a grade from a grading company.
- The fake check can find signs that a card is fake. It never confirms a card is genuine.
- Don't rely on them alone when buying, selling or grading.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. We'll give reasonable notice before removing something you rely on, where we can.
Ending
You can stop using the service at any time, and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or others at risk.
Disclaimers and liability
- The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
- To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100.
- You'll compensate us for claims arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.
General
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts in Hamilton County, Indiana.
- We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date, and tell account holders by email about significant changes before they apply.
- Questions: hello@akdarrah.com, or write to AKDARRAH LLC, Carmel, Indiana.
